High volume sending to a million people
PhantomFox runs the high volume sending system for senders at a million messages. Ten thousand, a hundred thousand and a million message campaigns all run on senders that were warmed before you arrived, so the first campaign sends at the rate the hundredth does.

At a million messages the bottleneck stops being the copy and becomes the calendar. Most providers will accept the list and then release it over weeks, which turns one campaign into a slow drip and makes the result impossible to read. This page is about sending the volume as a campaign rather than as a schedule.
Why does volume turn into a schedule elsewhere?
Because a new sender has to earn its rate, and a provider protects itself by spreading your list across days or weeks. The offer that was current on the first day is stale by the last, the response rate drifts for reasons nothing to do with the message, and nobody can say afterwards what actually worked.
You paid for a million messages and received a month of uncertainty.
What does high volume sending do instead?
It starts you at full rate. The senders here are pre warmed before you touch them, so the first campaign sends at the rate the hundredth does, and plans carry ten thousand, a hundred thousand or a million messages depending on which you are on.
There is no domain, no DNS record and no warm up schedule to serve, and nothing technical to configure at any size. The mechanics are on how it works.
What does a million messages cost and what comes back?
Bulk messages are priced per message from a prepaid wallet, so a million message send is arithmetic rather than a negotiation. Replies are routed to your own marketing inbox, which is where a campaign of that size is actually read.
The unsubscribes and the spam reports a million message campaign generates land on our sending infrastructure rather than on any domain of yours. The numbers are on pricing and the route is bulk sending.
| A million message campaign | Released on a schedule | Sent here |
|---|---|---|
| Time to reach the list | weeks | one campaign |
| Rate on day one | a beginner’s rate | full rate |
| Offer freshness at the end | stale | the same offer throughout |
| Reading the result | drifts, hard to attribute | one send, one number |
| Complaint load | your domain absorbs it | our sending infrastructure |
Senders who want the volume proved before they commit read test campaign sending before the real one, and those who would rather have it set up for them read dedicated sender setup, done for you. Top the wallet up and send the whole list as one campaign.
